However, avoid taking extra difficulty before your build can handle it comfortably. A theoretically stronger Atlas setup is not useful if it causes repeated deaths.

Save Wildwood Investment for Later

Sacred Blooms provide access to the Viridian Wildwood, where Primal, Vivid, and Wild Wisps can increase the density and rewards of maps.

The best time to invest heavily in this mechanic depends on your build. If you are still working through lower map tiers, keep your setup simple.

Once Tier 11 and higher maps become comfortable, Wildwood becomes much more attractive. At that point, the additional density and reward scaling can turn strong maps into productive farming sessions.

This creates a natural progression: first unlock the Atlas, then stabilize Waystone sustain, and only afterward invest heavily into additional map mechanics.

Keep the Entire Route Efficient

Forbidden Rites rewards players who maintain a clear sense of priorities. Campaign Rituals can help with early upgrades, but they should not become an excuse to stop progressing. The first Arbiter encounter is necessary, while the upgraded Arbiter provides the major Fortress shortcut.

Once the remaining Atlas progression has been unlocked, focus on Waystones and build strength rather than returning to old campaign content. This is where the streamlined progression really pays off.
